Privacy, plainly.
Effective July 19, 2026
Cheffy is at day zero. We collect almost nothing, we sell nothing, and this page tells you exactly what "almost nothing" means. No legalese, no surprises.
What we collect
Two things, and only when you give them to us:
- Your email, if you join the waitlist, so we can tell you when Cheffy is ready and how the build is going.
- Your application, if you write to us from the Careers page: your name, email, location, the links you share, your answers, and your browser type. We use it for one thing: deciding whether to build Cheffy together.
Like every website, our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested). We don't use them to identify you.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. Not now, not at launch, not ever.
- We don't run ads or advertising trackers.
- We don't use analytics cookies. The waitlist counter you see is stored in your own browser and never leaves it.
Where your data lives
Waitlist emails and applications are stored in Supabase (our database provider). The site is served by Vercel (our hosting provider). Both process data on our behalf; neither is allowed to use it for anything else.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe or we launch and you tell us to stop. Applications: while we're building the founding team. Either way, ask us to delete yours, and we will.
Your rights
Your data is yours. Write to us and we'll show you what we have, correct it, or delete it; no forms, no friction. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU or California), these rights are also yours by law; we honor them everywhere regardless.
Children
Cheffy's site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
As Cheffy grows (when the app exists, when the robot ships), this policy will grow with it. We'll update this page and change the date at the top. Big changes, we'll say so loudly.
